नई दिल्ली। दो बार की चैम्पियन एटीके आज इंडियन सुपर लीग (आईएसएल) के पांचवें सीजन के एक अहम मुकाबले में यहां सितारों से सजी बेंगलुरू एफसी से भिड़ेगी। एटीके के मुख्य कोच स्टीव कोपेल का लक्ष्य सॉल्ट लेक स्टेडियम में होने वाले इस मुकाबले में मीकू तथा सुनील छेत्री जैसे खतरनाक फारवर्ड खिलाड़ियों से सजी बेंगलुरू टीम के खिलाफ क्लीनशीट बनाए रखना होगा।

कोपेल की देखरेख में एटीके पांचवें सीजन के शुरूआती मुकाबले में ही केरला ब्लास्टर्स और फिर नार्थईस्ट युनाइटेड एफसी से हार गई। इसके बाद इस टीम ने दिल्ली के खिलाफ जीत हासिल की। जमशेदपुर को बराबरी पर रोका और फिर मौजूदा चैम्पियन चेन्नइयन एफसी को अपने घर में हराया। कोपेल ने कहा, "ऐसा लगता है कि आईएसएल में घर में जीतना काफी कठिन हो गया है लेकिन हमने घर मे खेले गए अंतिम मुकाबले में जीत हासिल की है और अब हम अगले मैच मे भी पूरे तीन अंक हासिल करने के लिए जरूरी माहौल बनाने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं।" एटीके को इस बात की खुशी है कि उसके स्टार कालू उचे ने चेन्नइयन के खिलाफ गोल किया और अब वह लय में आते दिख रहे हैं। कोपेल को सबसे अधिक सुकून इस बात को लेकर होगा कि उनकी टीम ने अपने घर में गोल का सूखा खत्म किया। इससे पहले केरल और नार्थईस्ट के खिलाफ यह टीम एक भी गोल नहीं कर पाई थी।

चेन्नइयन के खिलाफ जॉन जॉनसन ने भी सराहनीय प्रदर्शन किया था। वह बेंगलुरू के पूर्व डिफेंडर हैं और अब वह अपने पूर्व साथियों से दो-दो हाथ करने के लिए तैयार हैं। जॉनसन को अपनी टीम की रक्षापंक्ति की अगुवाई करनी है और बेंगलुरू की आक्रमणपंक्ति को आगे आने से रोकना होगा, जिससे कि उनकी टीम क्लीनशीट बनाए रख सके। कोपेल ने कहा, "हर कोच को क्लीनशीट पसंद है। हम भी क्लीनशीट हासिल करने के लिए मेहनत कर रहे हैं। अब तक हमें एक भी क्लीनशीट नहीं मिल है लेकिन बुधवार को यह हमारी प्राथमिकता होगी।" बेंगलुरू के खिलाफ क्लीनशीट आसान नहीं, खासतौर पर ऐसे में जब बेंगलुरू की आक्रमणपंक्ति में छेत्री और मीकू जैसे खतरनाक खिलाड़ी हों। बीते साल की उपविजेता टीम ने नए कोच चार्ल्स कुवाडार्ट की देखरेख में शानदार शुरूआत की है और इस सफर में मीकू और छेत्री का बड़ा योगदान रहा है।

बेंगलुरू ने इस सीजन में अब तक कुल छह गोल किए हैं और इनमें से पांच गोल मीकू और छेत्री का योगदान रहा है। कुआडार्ट ने कहा, "बीते सीजन में इन दोनों ने काफी गोल किए थे और इस साल भी ये अपना श्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करते हुए टीम के लिए अधिकतम योगदान देना चाहते हैं। ये पेशेवर हैं और इनके अंदर अच्छा करने की भूख है।" बेंगलुरू की टीम अच्छी है और बीते सीजन में उसने घर से बाहर नौ मैचों में से सात मैच जीते थे। कुआडार्ट को उम्मीद है कि बेंगलुरू की टीम एटीके के खिलाफ अपना शानदार प्रदर्शन बरकरार रखेगी क्योंकि बीते सीजन में इस टीम ने एटीके के खिलाफ दोनो मैच जीते थे।
